“Poga Float” (pronounced “pogee float”) – Jug race down the river. Ticket holders will have a numbered jug placed in the race – one ticket per jug. Purchase as many tickets as you like. The winning jug will be the first one that enters catch net.
Jugs will be released @ 2:00 pm Saturday. Race will end at the Poga Fire Department
Winner will receive a “Watauga Lake Experience” weekend at a cabin or B & B, dinner, boat on the lake. Purchasd tickets in advanced: $3.00 ea or 2 tickets for $5.00
