Project Healing Waters - Wounded Vets Heal Through Fishing

No one can really tell the true story of what it’s like to be wounded in war. Even one who has been there might not be able to explain to those of us who sleep safely in our beds each night.

But we can all help those who have served our country.

Project Healing Waters is having an event near Sugar Hollow soon.

It’s the Blue Ridge Flyfishing Event. October 10-11 at Rivers Edge in Spruce Pine NC. According to the NC PHW blog site, “Project Healing Waters is dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active duty military personnel and veterans through fly fishing and fly tying education and outings.”
