Phillip Brenneis joined the Sugar Hollow team to develop web content in 2006. He has a journalism background, working both as a staff writer and freelance. He currently resides in Raleigh, NC, where he attends North Carolina State University. He finds Sugar Hollow and the surrounding communities to be a welcome break from the streets of Raleigh and is reminded when he visits of his childhood home among the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains

His hobbies include fiction writing and independent filmmaking, but above all he loves music. He looks forward to upcoming live music events at Sugar Hollow.
