Fall is one of the most beautiful seasons, but lately, it’s been pretty rainy at Sugar Hollow.
When it rains, we spend time making sure your Sugar Hollow cabins are shipshape – light bulbs, any minor things that need to be fixed.

- Antique Shopping – Hunt for that hard-to-find item or just spend your time browsing at dozens of antique stores all over the Boone-Elizabethton area.
-Make an appointment to tour the Butler Museum.
-Take in a play at the Heritage Hall in Mountain City.
-Go to the Outlet Mall In Blowing Rock.
- Have lunch and a matinee at Elizabethton's Bonnie Kate Theater or matinee and dinner by reservation.
-Visit Sycamore Shoals Historical Site in Elizabethton.
-Visit the Bristol Motor Speedway Museum in Bristol, Tenn.
-Visit the Birthplace of Country Music, also inn Bristol.
-Visit the Dry Hill Store and chat up the owner for some local history and a snack.
-Or curl up next to the fireplace in your cabin with a good book or a board game.
